Away from the glitz and glamour Patrick practices his craft in Auvergne, France where he has several small plots growing local varieties such as Pinot Noir and Gamay. Each plot is cared for by the man himself due to an obsession with quality, taste, and profile.

A new wine from iconic winemaker Patrick Bouju, P 2022. P is made from 100% Pinot Noir that is hand-harvested and macerated in whole bunches in stainless steel vats. The resulting wine is deep, complex, and fairly mineral-heavy with bramble fruits and a long finish.

Picapol 2022 by Domaine de La Bohème is a white wine that combines freshness, fruity expression, elegant balance, and a vibrant acidity of the finish. Vinified in steel, no addition of sulphites, filtration, or clarifications.

Without a doubt one of our favourite Sparkling wines, having tried this on our recent trip to Paris. Patrick Bouju is one of the greats in the Natural Wine movement with Festejar being a global phenomenon and the 2021 doesn't disappoint. A Gamay, Pinot Noir and Merlot Pet Nat with notes of blackberry and cranberry, with a plummy finish and acidic twang. Dangerously smashable and slightly drier than previous vintages.

An absolutely stunning Riesling from winemaking magician, Patrick Bouju. It's been a while since we had anything new from one of our favourite producers but this was worth the wait, R 2020 is both buttery and crisp with refreshing notes of elderflower and an elegant well rounded finish. Super cloudy with no additions, it is yet another hit from the French man ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolute banger right here from Patrick Bouju. J 2018 is an Orange wine from the Natural Wine guru made from the grapes of Jean-Yves Péron. It's a perfectly balanced juicy orange wine which has got to be up there with some of his finest work.
