9 Is Enough Rosé which we've nicknamed "Italian Strawberries & Cream" is made from 100% Primitivo. Grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in open vats with direct press, completely unfiltered and as natural as they come. Elegant Primitivo rosé that oozes aromas of strawberries and blackberries. On the palate, it's the same story, strawberries, lush berries, and some wild herbs on the finish. Such a great wine and one that even the most conventional of wine drinkers will enjoy..

Valentina Passalacqua is a trailblazing young natural winemaker in Puglia, a region not exactly known for biodynamic, no sulfur wines. She took over her family’s land (used only for cattle grazing since 1900), located inside Gargano National Park, to create a diverse farm that includes indigenous grape varietals. Her family considered the land too difficult, too poor, for crops, not realizing that they were actually sitting on a precious marble mine – or soil that happens to be amazing for vines. The rocky, mineral-rich soil does not retain water (also great for vines), and proximity to the sea means cooling breezes and ventilation (another plus). Valentina’s wines are pure, elegant, never soupy as you sometimes see in wines from Puglia (it’s hot there). Because, she is careful about canopy management (to ensure grapes don’t get cooked) and picks early to retain freshness and acidity.

EXCLUSIVE! We've managed to secure a huge new signing to the UK Natural Wine world with the arrival of the infamous Valentina Passalacqua's range. The name will probably ring a bell for a lot of Natural Wine lovers due to Valentina being at the helm of the globally renowned Calcarius wines and if you think they were great, you're in for one hell of a ride with her latest releases.

Mare e Foresta is a clean, crisp, and top draw skin-macerated Pinot Grigio, technically an orange wine, that comes in a big ass 1 litre bottle of liquid sunshine. Tastes like grapefruit/passion fruit green tea topped off with a seawater float and a finish as clean as they come. No added So2, biodynamic certification, an adorable label designed by Valentina’s young daughters, and just 10% ABV. A killer wine for spring, summer.... and all year round to be honest.
