Grandbois Weine is the project of husband and wife team, Philippe and Tanja Granbois who moved to the Moselle Valley in 2018 and settled in Maring-Noviand, their dream village, to raise their family and wines. Through shared experiences working in organically certified wineries and their own philosophy in the kitchen have led them down the path to organic certification for all of their vineyards. They limit plant protection to EU organic standards and work with nature instead of fighting it. The pair let everything ferment spontaneously in the wine cellar and neither add nor remove anything from the wine during the êlevage phase.Batonnage is often used.A mix of neutral and new oak is also used for fermentation and storage.
