Move over Chin Chin there's a new ridiculously well priced wine in town! Delirious 2020 from Weinhof Haider (who also produce the cult favourite Jung & Sexy) is an Austrian White Wine in its purest form made from the Gelber Musketeller (yellow muscat) variety. The wine itself is generous on all fronts, with luscious, floral aromas of ripe pear, green apple, a touch of honey and exotic fruit. The sip is confident and clean and is far too easy to drink with a low 11.5% abv. Right now, no better wine around for under £15, trust us!!
Biodyn Hider (Weinhof Haider) is a biodynamic estate based in Neusiedlersee, Burgenland and a stones throw away from winemaking royalty such as Meinklang, Christin Tschida, Gut Oggau, Koppitsch, Preisinger, Judith beck.. Very good company indeed. Double certified (organic + Demeter), nothing added nothing removed except for 10 mg/l at bottling.
"We offer unadulterated, low-invention wines in our assortment. These special wines are carefully guided and accompanied by winemaker Berthold Haider along the process of vinification. The specific aromas of the carefully cultivated and equally gently processed grapes are thus preserved with all their facets of the region and its soils. Therefore, these wines, like our Pétillants naturels (or Pét Nat for short), remain unfiltered and most wines are bottled completely without any addition of sulphites.
