A classic Vouvray with big boy aromas of apple, grape, and vine peach complemented by mineral overtones. Beautifully balanced with a lively and persistent finish. The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness and carefully sorted, to retain the highest quality. The grapes were vinified plot by plot to retain the nuances of the Vouvray terroir. Fermentation took place at low temperature in stainless steel tanks to retain the freshness and purity of fruit.
Domaine de la Rouletière is located in the heart of some of the most sought-after slopes in Vouvray. Founded in 1914, it is owned by the Gilet family, winegrowers for five generations. Owner and winemaker Jean-Marc Gilet cultivates the 27-hectares of Ecocert certified organic vineyard, with the utmost respect for the environment and the terroir. At the heart of the vineyard, the domain possesses a magnificent two storey cellar that has been carved out by the Gilet family over many generations: 800 square metres set in freestone. The wines are elegantly styled, beautifully balanced and bear all the hallmarks of superb Vouvray
