One of the most iconic Natural Wine projects in the game. Calcarius is based out in the rolling hills of Puglia, Italy where the vineyard spans more than 80 hectares! The brains behind this magical winemaking outfit is Valentina Passalacqua who since ditching her high-flying corporate job nearly a decade ago has been arguably one of the main figures in getting Natural Wine mainstream.

With the 2020 vintages recently released our latest Juice Pack features our 3 favourites from Valentina, all Juicy AF and all coming in 1 litre formats ✔️
First up is Calcarius Orange aka sunshine in a bottle. Soft entry level Orange wine with a tangerine punch and a subtle citrus tang . At 11% alcohol, it is a wine made for those hot summer nights, if you serve this anything but cold its criminal

Next up is the Rosa, which is produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes which make for a super fragrant and fluid wine, enhanced by salinity and pomegranate/cranberry notes.

Last but not least is the Rosso 2020 which in our opinion is the juiciest out of the trio. Super drinkable with electric red fruits and just a touch of funk thanks to 4-day skin maceration.
