First up is a great value, supple, and super approachable South African Pinot Noir from Good Hope Winery. Admittedly we tend to lean towards old-world producers when buying Pinot Noir but not only does this wine deliver on price but packs all the texture, freshness, and red fruit you associated with traditional Pinot from the likes of Burgundy. supple sweet fruits, lovely texture, and great freshness.

Next up is Fattoria Di Vaira, Rosso 2019, a beautiful natural red wine with a beautiful plummy hue and notes of blackcurrant, blackberries, and spice. Full-bodied, but with a clean texture and ripe tannins on the finish. Give it a decent amount of air to let it expand to its full expression!

Their vineyards are located high up in the Sicilian hills and all wines are certified organic. The gorgeous Nero d'Avola grape grows perfectly in the Mediterranean climate and adding no sulphites or oak to the process means the grape does all the talking!
