This Larry Cherubino Ad Hoc Wallflower Riesling is an award-winning super drinkable low intervention white wine sourced from Mount Barker in the Great Southern wine region of Western Australia. Almost transparent in colour, this wine shows great purity and is off the scale in terms of refinement. A fragrant nose, with flavours of lemon peel and green apple all carried along by a soft texture, a long fine acidity and a persistent finish. The Ad Hoc range is an assembly of varietal wines for any occasion, each wine sourced from its best-suited region in Western Australia. From Margaret River, to Pemberton, to the regions of the Great Southern, Larry's knowledge of these regions and relationships with other grape growers enables him to find the best vineyards for each grape variety.
Larry Cherubino Wines was only established in 2005, but the significant success they have achieved over the past decade is the culmination of more than 20 years’ observation and work, both in Australia and across the major wine-producing regions of the world. Larry is renowned for his passionate commitment to maximising wine quality in both vineyard and winery, his state of the art technical knowledge and for having a highly developed understanding of modern wine styles. A graduate of Roseworthy College, Larry has had a distinguished career with BRL Hardy at Tintara in South Australia and then at Houghton in Western Australia, where his wines won hundreds of awards in the highly competitive Australian and International wine show system.
