La Sorga is kind of a big thing in the Natural Wine worlds having a worldwide fanbase who love the innovate and low intervention winemaking from founder, Antony Tortul. Anthony studied Chemistry in Toulouse before he started La Sorga in 2008 and now works with nine organic certified vineyards that are spread throughout Aude and Herault, France, totaling a tad over 25ha. All his wines are taped as single fields wine, and made with absolutely zero additions. Here we have packaged together what we believe are Antony's top wines available right now including..

Gel I 2017, made of 100% Grenache Blanc from 46 year old vines planted on gravel with lots of clay and silica. 2 months of very light maceration in whole bunches (Anto calls this trempette – dipped), it then spends 11 months on the heavy lees in cuve. Fresh, super minerally with pretty heavy herby tones running right through the wine.

Producer: La Sorga
Region: Languedoc, France
Grapes: Grenache Blanc
Style: Orange
Size: 75cl
ABV: 12%

Sorga Rouge 2016, one of Anton's real classics right here. The Cinsault grapes used for this are off 60 year old vines planted over schiste, which are then whole bunch macerated for 2 months and then 8 months on the lees in cuve before a year in bottle. Expect a light wine here that's super smashable with all the natural credentials that makes the La Sorga's so prolific.

Producer: La Sorga
Region: Languedoc, France
Grapes: Cinsault
Style: Red
Size: 75cl
ABV: 11.5%

Belzébrut 2018, a refermented wine using the ancestral method following the old rural tradition. Belzébrut is made from the Colombard variety grown from 10 year old vines which are planted on basalt rich limestone. The wine is bottled with the addition of fresh must, and in spring the fermentation starts again with the production of bubbles. Belzébrut is completely unfiltered giving off fragrant citrus aromas and a strong acidity. Super easy to drink!

Producer: La Sorga
Region: Languedoc, France
Grapes: Colombard
Style: Sparkling
Size: 75cl
ABV: 12.5%
