Judith Beck is a true force of nature in the Natural WIne scene. One of the go-to names for many across the world due to her uncompromising focus on the pursuit of quality and biodynamic farming. Based in the picturesque region of Burgenland, Austria, Judith's winemaking focuses on traditional Austrian varieties such as Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, and Neuberger, however, let us assure you, there is very little that's traditional about her wines.
In our latest Discover series, we've picked three of her best and latest wines including
Weissburgunder 2021, 100% Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) with just a little skin contact to elevate the wine. Judith Beck’s entry Weissburgunder has changed in the last couple of vintages from a white to a soft orange wine which has lovely fruit, freshness, and drinkability with just a hint of savoury, skin contact character.

Next up is a super juicy red, Ink 2020. The area Judith farms is known for some quite big red wines with many producers beefing them up with new and toasted oak richness and power. Judith Beck Ink is not like that at all! A blast of dark fruits, spices, and fresh, springy juiciness that leaps from the glass on the nose and hits the palate like a mouthful of summer berries.

Last up is Judith's Pink Rose 2020. A Biodynamic pink wine made from a zingy blend of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. The grapes are fermented with their natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks to create a super delicate, fresh, crisp rose that is bursting with red fruits.
