The natural wine scene in the UK is bustling with new and emerging producers along with the wines of more renowned winemakers reaching fans from the likes of Japan, Australia, and beyond.
To celebrate all things British we have put together three wines from three very different winemakers into our British Wine Pack.
First up is Ancre Hills, Chardonnay 2020. Ancre Hill Estates is located in the Welsh county of Monmouthshire with its 12 hectare organic and biodynamic of vineyards sitting perfectly positioned on south-facing slopes close to the border town of Monmouth and the Wye Valley. The 2020 Chardonnay cleverly balances delicateness with power, the aromas and flavours are of light lemon and ripe green apple, displaying hints of honeysuckle & vanilla

Next is Tillingham Col 22. Tillingham are based in the beautiful town of Rye in Sussex and have in the past few years become a cult favourite thanks to delicious wines such as PN and R. Col is short for Col Fondo, the Italian term which describes the "Ancestral Method" of re-fermentation in the bottle without disgorgement. Pale gold and slightly hazy, the Col has very soft small bubbles. Aromas of toasty, creamy baked apples are contrasted by fresh acidity and a dry long finish. Chill well and enjoy!

Lastly is Renegade, Shilpa 2021 a barrel-fermented Pinot Noir Rose from Essex, UK. Renegade is an urban winery based in London that buy grapes from across Europe, ship them in refrigerated lorries to the UK and makes some incredibly diverse low-intervention wines. Being barrel-fermented has given this wine a lovely creaminess, light vanilla notes are balanced out by classic English acidity. Textural, light, and packed with flavour, vibrant sherbet, gooseberry, and red fruit vibes
