It's back! Nat Pack™ 2 brings you another 3 unbelievable Natural Wines from producers featured in Action Bronson's cult classic "F That's Delicious". In round 2 of the series, we have wines from legendary producers Frank Cornelissen, Partida Creus, and the trailblazers from Italy, Lammidia. If you haven't already check out the first and O.G Action Bronson pack here
First up we have Blanco Natural or BN for short from Partida Creus which is pretty much the basic entry-level white in PC's portfolio. Predominently Macabeo, it also has a small amount of Cartoixa Vermell, a white grape with blushed pink skins that gives the BN a peachy twang thanks to a very brief bit of skin maceration. The juice is briny, with savoury aromas of hay that might sound disgusting but all works in tandem to produce a fricking awesome wine.
Producer: Patrick Bouju
Region: Auvergne, France
Grapes: Riesling, Auxerrois, Grenache Gris & Muscat
Second up is the 2020 Munjebel Rosso, Frank's flagship wine, and like the older brother to the infamous Susucaru, bolder, darker, and richer with a far bigger fruit bunch than its younger sibling. Made from Nerello Mascalese grown in various different vineyards, Frank describes it as his vision of a traditional, balanced, and rich Northern Valley Etna wine. Be prepared for a more complex mouthfeel and an irresistible woody after tone.
Producer: Frank Cornelissen
Region: Etna, Sicily, Italy
Grapes: Nerello Mascalese
And finally, we have Lammidia Rosato 2019. A beautiful pink and fruity wine from Lammidia that's light on the pallet, and super smashable. This year's vintage is slightly darker than the last.....and is best served super chilled in one sitting! Enjoy!
Region: Abruzzo, Italy
Grapes: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo
