Introducing Lebanese Natural Wine! Mersel Wines is a ground breaking project for the Middle East ran by winemaker, Eddie Chami, who trained in Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis, California. Mersel Wines mantra is simply, "Keep it simple", Their wines are made naturally, with very little or no sulfites, unfiltered and unfined using organic farming methods, resulting in simple fermented wine
Cinsault in Lebanon isn't the first thing that comes to mind but Eddie has worked some real magic in the vines to produce a great drinking Red glou glou style wine oozing with character.
Some rich red fruit note, a touch of middle eastern funk, and some 80's acidity. wraps around a great structure and moreish tannins.
