For the legendary Gut Oggau, 2016 was a year to remember. The seasons were turned, with spring and summer cold and frosty, and autumn was warm and peaceful – luckily for them, this resulted in a truly amazing quality of grapes across all their varieties. There was one issue though, quantity, with a low yield and not enough to bottle the entire family only three family members made the cut.

Rose 2016, Grapes are hand-harvested and spend a couple of hours on the skins. Fermentation and ageing in wooden barrels. Blaufrankish, Zweigelt
Weiss 2016, Grapes are hand-harvested. Party fermented on the skins in wooden vats, and the rest in wooden barrels. The wine is aged in wooden barrels for a year.Gruner Vetliner, Pinot Blanc
