Volume 13 in our wallet-friendly £50 pack series includes wine from Austrian rockstar Quantum, Italian pioneers Il Farneto and UK urban winery, Renegade.
First up is a pretty complex and character-filled wine from Quantum, Domaine Cinquante Points 2018, something we don't see too often from them. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that spends 7 days on skins before being transferred to old oak barrels. Big hedgerow fruits with a hint of smoky tobacco on the finish, a wine that gets the conversation going for sure.

Next is Il Farneto Giando Rosso 2021, a red natural wine made from Malbo Gentile, Lambrusco, and Marzemino organic and biodynamic grapes grown in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Il Farneto is a tiny biodynamic estate of only 8 hectares located in Emilia-Romagna focusing on local varietals Spergola, for white wines, and Marzemino, for red wines.

To finish off we have a brand new wine from Renegade, a barrel-fermented Pinot Noir Rose from Essex, UK, Shilpa 2021. Being barrel fermented has given this wine a lovely creaminess, light vanilla notes are balanced out by classic English acidity. Textural, light, and packed with flavour, vibrant sherbet, gooseberry, and red fruit vibes.
