Radford Dale is a South African wine brand that is famous across the globe for producing incredibly refreshing, sustainable, and great-value wines. Founded in 1998 by Alex Dale, a Brit, and Ben Radford, an Australian, they set up this brand with the sole objective of making high-quality wines from vineyards spread across the Western Cape.

With the pairs latest wines landing, we've clustered up our favourite 4 to give you a true taste of what Radford Dale's wines have to offer.

First up is Radford Dale Chenin Blanc, A light-bodied wine, bursting with citrus intensity, delicate pear, and a sprinkle of white peach. All-round good crowd pleaser this one.

Producer: Radford Dale
Region: Stellenbosch, South Africa
Grapes: Chenin Blanc
Style: White
Size: 75cl
ABV: 12%

Next up is their infamous Pinot Noir, Dark ruby in colour with aromas of strawberry and damson with subtle cardamon notes that typify the variety. South African Pinot is known for great texture and tannins and this one ticks all the boxes. Drinks at room or slightly chilled.

Producer: Radford Dale
Region: Stellenbosch, South Africa
Grapes: Pinot Noir
Style: Red
Size: 75cl
ABV: 12.5%

Thirdly is the Radford Dale Chardonnay, Pale gold in colour with a vibrant green tinge. Lemon rind and mandarin vibes combine on the nose, while a touch of brioche which hints at the barrel fermentation. Lively acidity and lemon zest make for a zippy sip with a crisp finish.

Producer: Radford Dale
Region: Stellenbosch, South Africa
Grapes: Chardonnay
Style: White
Size: 75cl
ABV: 12.5%

Last up is admittedly our favourite, the Radford Dale Gamay Noir 2021. Gamay loves granite and South Africa has lots of it, so it makes perfect sense to grow the Beaujolais grape there. Radford Dale has made a stunningly bright, silky wine with bunches of ripe red fruit notes with a hint of white pepper. It weighs in at a featherweight 11.5% alc, so it makes for a lovely lunchtime red to enjoy with charcuterie, cheese and a warm crusty sourdough.

Producer: Radford Dale
Region: Stellenbosch, South Africa
Grapes: Gamay
Style: Red
Size: 75cl
ABV: 11.5%
