Natural Wine doesn't have to cost the earth and our new series of £50 packs prove it. In the fourth of the series, we have 3 wines from three of the world's top natural wine producers, Pittnauer, Valentina Passalacqua, and our latest import, Quantum Winery All wines are beautifully made, fully natural and make the perfect gift for any wine lover in your life.
First up is Velvet, an unbelievably good value introduction to Austrian reds from winemaking magician, Gerhard Pittnauer. A blend of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch, which come together for an Austrian take on Pinot Noir - light to medium body, with dark cherry and spice. Oh, and it has a wonderful velvety texture, too!

Next up is 1 litre of Italian sunshine from Valentina Passalacqua. Famiglia 2020 is basically the epitome of what a clean, drinkable, and fully natural wine should be. Made from a 50/50 blend of Bombino and Fiano grapes which undergo spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks for 6 days, without skins (direct press) before being aged for 6 months in steel tanks. Taste-wise this one is just awesome starting off with rich aromas of lemon, candied ginger, and walnuts and a palate of pineapple and a feint coconut vibe moving onto the finish. Big minerality and incredibly smashable which is dangerous in its 1 litre format

Last up is Make Portugieser Grape Again from Quantum Winery, a wine not surprisingly made from 100% Portugieser, a grape Florian works absolute wonders with. The grapes come from vines over 30 years of age cultivated in biodynamic agriculture, which are found on soils composed of loess and sand. Spontaneous fermentation and aging in used barriques and then in steel tanks. Super fruity number with pops of red fruit and badass acidity, a real beaut.
