A stunning still, low-intervention Sussex white wine made from a blend of 97% Chardonnay, 2% Reichensteiner, and just a sprinkling (1%) of Pinot Noir. On the nose this ones all about lemon zest and grapefruit, with hints of honeysuckle and pear. Mouth-watering acidity with flavours of lemon sherbet and stone fruits. Perfectly balanced with an extra-long finish. Grapes are hand-harvested with minimal addition sulphur.
The Secret Vineyard has really been a secret up until now, located just a ten-minute drive from our warehouse on the Sussex coast! Ran by sisters Vicky and Helen Tate, The Secret Vineyard is a brand new project located on the grounds of an old plant nursery who's mission is to produce affordable and minimal intervention British wines. Although currently buying grapes from a vineyard in Canterbury, they will be producing wines from their own fruit in early 2025.
